Technology and me

So, what is the best technology? As probably everybody knows, there is not one definite answer to this. Some go for Android, another iOS. One user want’s a Windows PC, another Linux PC.

For me the preferred technology has been Google and its long tentacles, for the most part. But I’m not restricted to that, I go over the fence easily. My daily phone with my primary operator at the moment is a Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max. Used to be Androids, and lastly an Huawei P30 Pro. My daily used PC is a Macbook Pro 16″, while it used to be a Dell XPS 15 with Windows 10. My daily tab is mostly an iPad. But when it comes to software used, Google maintains the first place.

Microsoft Edge has taken the place from Google Chrome as my preferred browser. Gmail is my private and now as well business solution of email. I go more and more for Docs instead of Word. Sheets has replaced Excel for the most parts, but not totally.

Life without tech?

NO, a definite no. As my profession is IT, and my main interest is technology devices, I don’t like to go to situations where no technology is the only option. In discussions about “could you go without tech for a month?”, my answer would be no. Technically I could, but I really don’t want to.

What tech do I use?

Phone: Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max. (Secondary phone and operator SIM is in a Huawei P30 Pro)
Computer: Apple Macbook Pro 16″. (Used to be Dell XPS 15)
Watch: Fitbit Versa 3
Tablet: Apple iPad 8″ (Secondary is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016))
Headphones:
– JBL T460T – if on the move
– Plantronics Voyager 8200 – if stationary
– Plantronics BackBeat FIT – if exercising
